Mr. Parks is a degreed professional with more than 20 years of progressive experience in the areas of cash, investment and liability management. He generated $16 million in assets/liabilities over a three year period and with management oversight of $26 million. His most recent management position at Merrill Lynch was leading financial advisors to seek new markets and improve efficiency. His highly developed interpersonal skills have promoted him into positions of leadership and he has management skills with a history of delivering results. He has a personal motivated attitude to promote advancement in economic development/education, business/financial consulting and strategic analysis.
Mr. Parks has given financial management seminars for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., State of Arkansas, Philander Smith College, University of Arkansas, and the East-West Shrine All-Star Football Game (San Antonio TX). He has spoken in various churches in central and northwest Arkansas. He has spoken to numerous nonprofit and governmental organizations throughout Arkansas.
Mr. Parks’ public speaking engagements include the University of Arkansas and Arkansas Tech University. He has also spoken to various civic organizations in the state of Arkansas.
Mr. Parks’ public service includes past and present membership in the Russellville Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce. In each organization, he was recognized for his leadership. He is a present member of the State Banking Board of Arkansas, past trustee of the Arkansas District Judges Retirement Board and past president of the Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association. He serves on the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame Foundation.
