Public Speaking

Our keynote presentations include conferences, conventions and graduations.  We deliver value to those occasions with insight and purpose.  We are valued on panel discussions focused on finance, banking, economic development and higher education development.  Our signature topics are our “Collaborative Leadership Series” and “Harnessing New Leadership”.  Collaborative leadership is an emerging theory and management practice that focuses on the leadership skills and attributes needed to deliver results across organizational boundaries. Continued gains in market share—based on monies raised, academic brand recognition, and relationship development—is the overview of this presentation.  Harnessing New Leadership is the invaluable commodity required to create the new economy.  This kind of leadership is developed through the taking on of risk and the acceptance of failure.  New leadership see risk and failure as opportunities to fix problems, change thought processes and develop new models.

Our presentation to the CASE Fusion District III/IV Conference in New Orleans February 2011 was focused on collaborative leadership in higher education development. This collaborative leadership details internal and external relationships. Internal relationships such as foundation, central office, institutional advancement or development office are examined to see how to work with each other or if the school only has one of these, how can it more effectively engage administration. External relationships such as key alumni, corporations and foundations are examined to see how effective our development activities are with matching our goals with their causes. Also of note, we will closely look how auxiliary internal areas such as athletics, academic divisions and public relations are matched with our goals in campaign mode and outside campaign mode.
